Make 'N Stays
Inspired by crown diamond Shelby Paulk & written by Jill OnCall

I ran my FIRST Make ' N Stay after hearing the brilliant idea from my cross-line friend, Shelby. Prior to this, I was putting together little kits that would go out, and we just weren't getting the traction. Shelby told me about this version her team was doing and let me tell you - we went from 10 people with the diy kits to 200 people with the make 'n stay.

How it works....
On a weekly brand partner meeting, we decide the next month’s Make 'n Stay DIY theme. We then come up with 8 recipes that don't require a lot of time, energy or resources. We try to think of things that people probably already have on hand. - I take the recipes and make a list of Young Living items needed, containers, and grocery - I hop over to Canva and pull up a template and drop the recipes in, and then share the template with the brand partners so they can proof read for me and offer edits. (this is NOT a one woman show, I WANT my team involved in its creation!!)

Let’s get ready with some Laundry & Kitchen Makeover recipes! Join us on (DATE) at (TIME)t where we will hang out together and make these awesome recipes!!

HOW THIS WORKS - PLEASE READ THRU

🧼 Sign up between (DATES) to participate - this will allow time to order enough labels/recipe cards for everyone and mail them to you. You MUST fill out google form....see below.

🧴Pick out the containers of your choice so that you are ready to go. I have listed out a few options below with links, but you can use whatever containers work for you

🌱Make sure that you have the YL products that you will need to make the recipes (also listed below). If not, add them to your Essential Rewards order and process early in the month, or if you are not taking advantage of ER then head to “SHOP” and complete a one-time order as soon as you can to ensure they make it to you on time!

The idea:

  1. PRODUCT USAGE - Get people using the products. The reason OGV is ever down is because people aren't using the products - so get people using them!

  2. COMMUNITY - Get people together! I suggested they get a few people to their house and make things together. (not yet members too!)

The flow:

  • Brand Partner call for theme, idea and nail down the date of the live zoom. Example, in May it's May 28th.

  • The 25th of the month through 5th of the following month the post is up and the form is active. Example, goal was to post May's on April 25th and it will be live through the 5th of May.

  • The 6th I order postcards through VistaPrint (or wherever), and label stickers through StickerMe or StickerMule and envelopes through Amazon.

  • Once I get the postcards and stickers, I sign the postcard and I usually have a stick I apply that gives the reminder to check their email for the link of the live zoom call. (You can design the card with the info already on, but I order extra to send out as happy mail so I want flexibility, so you'll notice one card is almost a blank notecard). I package the postcards and 4 labels and drop them in the mail. I do not send 8 labels, we do 4 "main" recipes that get labels and then we include BONUS recipes just for fun.

Total cost for 4 stickers is around $1.00 depending how many you are purchasing, and the postcards minimal as well depending upon discount codes and volume. Then envelope and stamp. I believe this one cost me around $3 per person all said and done, which was remarkably cheaper than things I've done in the past.

The Results:

Around 200 people who have 8 amazing recipes in their hand, they are using the products, and they hopped on a community call to "be together" for this.
